I have a 1995 Infiniti G20t on its second engine. Oil leaks (when you fix one you create another), brake fluid leaks (tho not much), but the real question has been the development of some electrical issues:
Recently my battery light came on, next day my battery was dead (tested with no juice), so I replaced the battery, but the battery light is still on in the dashboard. Not only that, but now the radio cuts in and out when I press on the gas. I press down to accelerate and the sound cuts out of my speakers. Then one of my headlights went out, and since both were old I replaced them both (with the exact specifications listed in the car) and the new lights worked for a moment but about 2 minutes into driving both lights went out. The high beams work, but the normal headlight setting does not work. Other than that it runs good. Starts good, power windows and locks and sunroof all work, interior lights work, blinkers, work and it makes it around town great.
I've checked the fuses and fuse links, all good.
I've checked for loose wires by the gas pedal, all good.
I've checked for loose wires around the engine, and as far as I can tell, all good.
So far I'm stumped and would love to hear from anyone at IHOP who knows more about cars than I do! Thank you!
